Who says you can't wear white during winter? White looks great doing the cold months, so I say go for it. There is no since in having clothing in your closet that you can wear only a couple months out of the year because of some silly rule.
I am a big fan of neutral clothing because it is a blank canvas that you can add any color to. White jeans are a great staple to have in your closet because they can go with almost anything.
