Healthy Snacks

I usually try to be on a health kick, but sometimes it is hard with working full-time, blogging and everyday life. This is why I have to plan ahead in order to have healthy snacks and not be reaching for the easy convenient ones that have less nutrients and more calories. Below I am sharing some of my favorite and easy healthy snacks that you can take with you on the go.

Vitafive

Let's face it, the food that we eat is not givings us the nutrients that our body needs in order to live and sustain a healthy lifestyle. So the next best way to get all the goodness your body desires is to take supplements.

Benefits of Acaí

Acaí is a superfood that is packed with antioxidants and a whole lot of goodness. So why wouldn't you take advantage of this awesome fruit? My favorite way to enjoy it is in an Acaí bowl, which is great for breakfast or lunch, and even a dessert. Check out the the benefits of acaí and a recipe for how to make an acaí bowl below.

I am always looking for things that help me get through longs days and give me the energy to last all day. Coffee works well but only for so long. A healthier option that I have found is 100% Pure Organic Match Green Tea, which can be found here.

Coconut oil has been very popular lately. You see it on the shelves of any health store, usually your local grocery store or online. It can be found in a pill form or in a oil base. Coconut has many benefits in any form.

As we go into the winter months there will be many cold and gray days. Most like a couple days of snow and cold but when it becomes repeatedly it tends to take a toll on your mood. There is such a thing called seasonal depression or SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), basically meaning your onset of depression starts in the fall and last through the winter. This sort of depression drains your energy and kills your mood. One way I combat this is by taking supplements that enhance my mood.
