Green Juice or Green Smoothie

Happy Saturday all! Hope you are staying warm and enjoying the snow if you received any last night. Any fun plans this weekend? Me....just hanging out with friends and getting organized for the upcoming week. Is it just me or do our lives seem to get busier by the day??? If you are like me then you are always busy and on the go. When you have a busy work and social life it sometimes gets hard to get in all the good and healthy nutrition that your body needs. So this is why I make green juice or smoothies to make sure I get enough fruit, veggie, and protein in my diet. Not only is it good for you it taste great too. Recipe below. Enjoy!!

   Yummy!!!!!

So making this delicious drink is all about personal preference. Really you find what you like and what taste good together and throw it all in the blender. I use whatever fruits in vegetables I have in my house at the time. You can use fresh or frozen.

Recipe I used today

1 whole banana
1 sliced medium apple
1 slice of a lemon wedge with the peel
1 cutie sliced orange
1 tablespoon of nut butter (Almond, Peanut, Cashew, etc.) I Use Almond
1 cup of fresh or frozen greens (Kale, or Spinach)
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (I used Arbonne's vanilla)
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 cup of coconut water or aloe vera juice
1 cup of ice
