Have you heard of the fashion App Cuuura? If not you should! I love this app.  Every fashion blogger and shopping addict needs its. Cuuura is a meeting place for the fashion obsessed. The app allows you to share your style through pictures, and by using the polling system you can get and give feedback on your #OOTD and different outfit choices you are exploring. The best part is that it has a digital wardrobe feature so you can keep track of what is already in you closet. This app helps you to shop smarter by not spending money on multiples that you forget you have.   Good Afternoon peeps! Have you ever heard of a company named Uniqlo? If not, you should! Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing company that opened its first store in Hiroshima in 1984.  Uniqlo describes its clothing as LifeWear. Meaning that their perfect components are made with quality. If you have ever felt a piece of their clothing you will understand.  The quality of their clothing is impeccable, it is extremely soft and comfortable. The fit of their clothing is also amazing, it is true to size. Not only are their clothes awesome they are affordable. Rooftop Fashion

Morning Peeps! How was your weekend? Mine fantastic! A couple weeks ago I had a girls night with a couple friends. I don't know about you but every once in a while when I go out I like to be cute but casual. Don't get me wrong I love my dresses but there is something about a good pair of jeans and a blazer. KDF Winefest

Morning Loves! Hope this week is treating you well. Last week I attended the Kentucky Derby Festival (KDF) Winefest. It is one of the events that takes place leading up to the Derby. See all the events here. This is the third time I attended this event.  It is a annual outing that one of my friends and I like to to do each year together. Over 20 wineries in Kentucky and southern Indiana set up shop on the Belvedere near the Ohio River for a 2 day wine tasting event. If you didn't already know....I am a wino! Lol! This is a great way to sample multiple wines, to see which ones you like and to socialize with a group of friends. Check out my day at the KDF Winefest and my outfit details. Hope you enjoy.

Kentucky Oaks 141

Happy Sunday Peeps! This past week was Derby week here in the Bluegrass. It is basically like a holiday here in Louisville. Many Derby inspired events and activities happen leading up to the Derby. It is definitely one of the funnest times of the year. You can see a list of events here. This year I attended the 141st running of the Oaks at Churchill Downs and watched the Derby at home with my family. I have been to both the Derby and the Oaks many times in past years. 2015 Gallopalooza

It is that time of year again here in the Bluegrass state....Derby time!!! This means horse racing, bourbon and everything in between. In Louisville, the celebration starts 2 weeks before the actual Derby race which happens to be the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs (this year it is May 2, 2015). Check out all of the Kentucky Derby festivities here. One event that I went to last week was the 2015 Gallopalooza Collection Preview. If you drive through Louisville you will see brightly painted full sized fiberglass statues of horses in front of a local businesses or home. Since this is only the third time that kentuckians have been able to experience Gallopalooza, and we are not sure when it will happen again, I thought I should check it out.  Gallopalooza started as a way to beautify the streets, encourage local exploration, increase tourism, showcase local artists and generate civic pride. (www.gallopalooza.com). The project raises money to support Brightside, which is a volunteer driven and funded effort to beautify the city, and many other local charities. The past two time that this happen (2004 and 2009), the focus was mainly on horses. The artists added bourbon barrels and mint julep cups this year, as well as the horses. All the artist are very talented. Each has to apply and submit a design and see if sponsors would like to commission them for their work.
