Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great Christmas. I did! Are you ready for the New Year? The new year for me means time to recharge, refocus, and reorganize my life. I have a lot of new thing happening in 2015 so I have to be ready for them.

The Highlands

Happy Tuesday ya'll! Lol! Is everyone ready for Christmas? I am almost there. I have a couple more gifts to wrap and I will be ready. About Last Night.....

Last night I went to a Christmas get together with some friends. A little wine tasting, conversation and dinner. I always love getting together with this group of girls. Ends and Outs of My December

It has been a couple days since I blogged, so I need to catch you up on my on my past weekend and #OOTDs. What have you been up to? Anything fun?

Last Saturday I went to see The Nutcracker at The Kentucky Center. It was an awesome show put on by The Louisville Ballet. If you have never seen The Nutcracker during the holiday season, it is a must see. I think I may make it a tradition. What are some of your holiday traditions?

On Sunday I went to a Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and ornament exchange. A couple of my very best friends and I have been doing this for the past 5 years. I really look forward to it each year. Christmas Sangria

Who doesn't love a good sangria? Make your own at home. It is super easy. Basically a bottle of your favorite type of wine and some fruit. Here is how I make my Christmas Sangria. Enjoy!

Christmas Sangria Recipe:

1 bottle of your favorite wine (white or red) I used a bottle 3 Buck Chuck Pinot Grigio from Trader Joe's  

1/2 of  cup of chopped Granny Smith Apples 

1/3 Cup of Pomegranates 

1/2 of a lime sliced 

1/2 cup of cranberries 

If you like a sweeter sangria add 1 cup of white, grape, peach juice

Chill until ready to serve. Best if chilled over night.
